Kevin's Bio
Kevin Edmundson Lead Electric Guitar Where were you born and raised? Born and raised in Alexandria, Virginia Where and what have you studied? Studied ... well, studied is a stretch, but I have degrees from the University of Alabama and Catholic University School of Law. Where and what have you performed? I think my first performance was in elementary school. I played a solo acoustic version of Rock On by David Essex. That was a long, long time ago. How did you get into music? You see, music got into me and it never left. When I heard Pete Townsend play “ Won't Get Fooled Again ” for the first time, my knees buckled and I knew I needed an electric guitar and loud amp fast! What is distinctive about your style? Absolutely nothing! I listen mostly to the blues, and whatever I try to play, I'm sure Muddy and Buddy did it years ago. What is your family like? The best! My mother bought me a Marshall half stack in high school, and rarely told me to turn down. How cool is that! And my wife just laughs when I drag home another guitar that "I absolutely had to have." I'm fortunate to have had a whole lot of peace, love and understanding around the house. What else do you like to do besides music? I chase my two boys around the backyard and watch a whole lot of Sponge Bob Square Pants. What are your goals in music and goals for MRB? I dropped my nets a long time ago. I'm just along for the ride, and my job is to be obedient. Quote on music: “ One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain. ” Bob Marley
